Hey Hey sweeties!
Hope you are all doing well!!! I am really sorry for not posting for two weeks, but I had visitors from Greece and you know, we were all day out and about!!!
My bestie came from Greece and we visited Amsterdam, as I referred you in the previous post and then my friend from Athens came and now my parents, who just left back to Greece!! I really enjoyed the good company, my friends and of course the trips we made around Europe! I have to admit that it was really cool and I took a taste from how the life is in Europe!! I have to admit though, that I enjoy being in my country, as although we don’t have the amazing facilities and job positions that there are in many other countries in Europe, Greece is a unique country and when your family and friends live there, I think that it is excepted for someone to wanna go back again :)
My Erasmus experience ends in no more than three weeks and from the one side it was a really cool experience, something that you have to live it in order to understand it, but I began missing my life back in Greece and I can’t wait to go back :) Enough with the Erasmus though, I will tell you more in a post all about Erasmus :))
Now, about Amsterdam! I loved the city, I think that it is quite different in relation to the rest cities of Europe that I have visited so far! It is a pretty touristic city though, that’s why I wouldn’t like to live there for my whole life. Maybe Nijmegen would be a better choice, as it is a small city that has literally everything! I loved it! Amsterdam is amazing, but to my mind only for some days! You know the whole feeling there is different, the atmosphere, everything! The Dutch people were very kind too! I was amazed with the fact that everyone was speaking English fluently and the locals were so kind with the tourists! They helped us a lot with the must-visit places of the city and everything!! You have to visit the touristic centre of the city (Leidseplein, Museumplein, Dam square etc) but you have also to visit not touristic places, with a boat from the central station that goes on the opposite side of the Amsterdam! If you want to see more pics from Nimjmegen, please press “read more” button :) New Travel posts coming up soon.. stay tuned!
’til next time…
